Share House

A share home is where a number of people live together in a property.

They can do this as:

Co-tenancies: All occupants of the home are named on the agreement as tenants Sub-letting: One or more occupants (known as the head tenant) are named on the agreement – the head tenant becomes the landlord and the sub-tenant is the tenant. It is recommended that this is in writing.

Boarders and lodgers: these may be outside rooming accommodation regulations depending on

circumstances.

Our Share Houses is located around the city CBD with between 15 – 20 mins walking to the city.

Rooms

GSR Accommodation provides accommodation for up to 50 students all year round.

Residents share showers, toilets and a fully furnished kitchen and living area.

Each house or apartment contains:

5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and toilets

LCD TV

Cutlery and plates for 10

Cooking utensils, pots and pans

Toaster, kettle and ironing board

2 Tea towels (changed weekly)

Mop, broom and bins for kitchen and bathroom

Dining table and chairs

Sofa

Fridge freezer

Microwave

Vacuum cleaner

Each study bedroom contains:

Bed, desk, chair and stool

Curtains

Mattress protector

Rubbish bin and washing basket

Rooming accommodation: is where the resident rents a room and shares bathroom/kitchen

facilities. A person renting a room from someone who also lives at the property and rents out 3 or
